Qualifying transactions must post and settle to the Dirigo Honors Checking account during the monthly qualification cycle. Transactions may take one or more banking days from the date transaction was made to post to and settle to the account. ATM-processed transactions do not count towards qualifying debit card transactions. Monthly Qualification Cycle means a period beginning one (1) day prior to the first day of the current statement cycle through one (1) day prior to the close of the current statement cycle. For the Dirigo Honors Checking, if qualifications are met each monthly qualification cycle:
- Domestic ATM fees incurred during the qualification cycle will be reimbursed up to $25 and credited to the account on the last day of the monthly statement cycle; 2) balances up to $25,000 receive APY of 2.00%; and 3) a dividend rate of 0.299% will be paid on the portion of your average daily balance that is greater than $25,000.01. The annual percentage yield for this tier will range from 2.00% to 0.64%, depending on the balance in the account. When your Honors Checking account qualifications are not met, the dividend rate paid on the entire balance will be 0.049%, with an annual percentage yield of 0.05%.
If qualifications are not met however no ATM refunds will be paid. Account approval, conditions, qualifications, limits, timeframes, enrollments, log-ons, and other requirements apply. Having at least one ACH Credit in your Dirigo Honors Checking account, a minimum of 12 POS debit card transactions and receipt of electronic statements are conditions to qualify for the monthly reward each cycle period. The advertised Dirigo Honors Checking APY is based on compounding dividends. Dividends are compounded every month. Dividends are credited to your account on the last day of the current Statement Cycle. If you close your account before the dividend is credited, you will not receive the accrued dividend.
